As we enter toddlerhood, life really starts to get exciting! Toddlers are discovering that they are powerful and can make things happen, and there's never a dull moment! Our teachers are ready for the thrills (and spills!) that come with this stage of development, and are ready to keep little hands and minds busy with lots of opportunities to explore cause and effect, become immersed in sensory play, or enjoy a great story and a snuggle. Every experience is a learning experience for our toddlers, so we use positive behavior strategies help children learn how to interact with one another and share classroom space in positive ways. Toddlers are dynamic learners, so our teachers are sure to keep the day balanced between plenty of open-ended, child led experiences as well as teacher-led invitations to play, sing, read, do art and play outdoors, all intentionally curated to align with the interests and development of the children in our toddler class.TODDLERS (12-24 months)
